Briefing on Franks’ Bill Regarding Race- and Sex-Based Abortions

Congressman Quigley, Congresswoman Lee, and Congressman Nadler will be hosting a briefing on H.R. 3541, which carries a five-year prison sentence for physicians who fail to determine if race or sex is a factor in a woman’s decision to terminate a pregnancy.  This bill distorts the language of civil rights in order to further an on-going attack on women’s rights, and its ultimate goal is to undermine Roe v. Wade.
