Talk With a Teen Girl Today

Why? Because so many teen girls in Montgomery County feel invisible. When we surveyed the teen girls we serve at Crittenton Services of Greater Washington, they told us:

  • They feel unseen
  • They feel they are not valued
  • They feel unheard
  • They feel judged

The truth is that teen girls are amazing. In spite of many pressues, they set expectations for themselves, hold on to their dreams, and push themselves in school and in career plans. But they are teenagers who face many pressures and need adults they can trust.  That is where you come in. Join us and participate in the launch of "Talk with a Teen Girl Today" campaign. The overaching goal is to raise awareness of both the issues confronting Montgomery County girls and the critical roles that the community can play in working with teen girls to address those issues. A panel comprised of teen girls will share their findings from a survey developed by Crittenton program participants (SNEAKERS and PEARLS).

Join us and learn what you can do to make a difference in the lives of teen girls!
