Black Women's Health Initiative

Inside Healthy Living

Eat right! Get fit! Be emotionally well! These are the keys to living healthier. The Black Women’s Health Imperative, with the support of Kraft Foods Inc., is working to get this information into your hands and all of the other 19.5 million African American women and girls in order to help change their lives and health for the better.

The Healthy Living Initiative is a lifestyle-change program that focuses on promoting better nutrition, increased physical activity and improved emotional well-being for Black women and their families who are disproportionately at risk for obesity and obesity-related diseases. Here, you can get the facts, tools and resources to help you and your family live healthier!
