Black Women's Health Initiative

Let's Connect

Community support is critical to Black women's health and wellness now and in the future. It's at the core of what the Black Women's Health Imperative has stood for in its 25 year history of engaging Black women to talk about and share their health stories, legacies and knowledge. We want you to think of this section of the Imperative's Web site as an online SisterCircleTM, a space that is dedicated to fostering sisterhood, support and sharing among Black women of varying ages, socio-economic levels, educational backgrounds and etc. We all share a common bond: sisterhood.

We encourage you to join this virtual community of women who believe that Black women's health and wellness is a human right. Take time to share your health story, pose thought-provoking questions on our message boards, get the latest e-news, send an e-card, read inspiring words from survivors and encourage sisters who may be struggling with physical, mental and spiritual health issues. Lastly, we hope that you will respect this space for learning, growing and teaching among supportive sisters who may have differing views and opinions.

Welcome to the Black Women's Health Imperative's virtual SisterNetTM, a place for Black women to connect and care about themselves and others for a healthy change!
